Around Africa Clockwise with a NanoKleen

Africa Clockwise is the name of the epic journey stand-up comedian Mark Sampson and his family are undertaking around the circumference of the continent from 2013 in their Big Green Truck, running on waste vegetable oil and solar power.

It’s also the title of his comedy show, which premiered at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown in 2011, and played at the Liberty Theatre on the Square in Johannesburg and at the Masque Theatre in Cape Town in 2012 to rave reviews.

Sampson is on a mission to investigate whether Africa can show the world how to cope with climate change. With our ecological clock ticking, he set out to explore more than 40 countries, originally planning on one year up the west coast and one year down the east.

For the second time they’re taking a NanoKleen water purification system which they will use on a variety of water sources to provide fresh, healthy pure water wherever they go in Africa.  This is the second time they’ve taken taken a Nanokleen on their journeys. Previously on a two year journey to Spain from South Africa, they used a NanoKleen purification system for drinking water – no-one became ill during the journey.

NanoKleen is proud to sponsor Africa Clockwise for the second time with an on-board NanoKleen purifier unit. You can read more about the Africa Clockwise Journey on https://africaclockwise.wordpress.com/about/
